The Vertical reported earlier that the team was planning to let Ennis go prior to the start of the regular season, but the Rockets have instead opted to part ways with veteran Pablo Prigioni. That means Ennis will now serve as the No. 2 point guard behind Patrick Beverley, though it’s expected that James Harden will spend considerable time as Houston’s de facto point guard.
