Thaddeus Young: Likely out until after All-Star break

Young has missed the team’s last five games because of a wrist injury and is
apparently still dealing with some significant swelling, so the Pacers are going
to err on the side of caution and expect to keep him out through the All-Star
break. That would keep Young out for two more games following Monday’s contest,
which gives Young over a week to prepare for a Feb. 24 matchup with the
Grizzlies. With Young out, Lavoy Allen has started and picked up the majority of
the slack at power forward and should be the favorite to keep those duties for
the Pacers’ next three outings.
