Michael Kidd-Gilchrist: Minimal usage in overtime loss

MKG typically doesn’t offer much on the scoreboard but makes up for it with
above-average work on the glass. However, he was quiet across the board Sunday,
taking his his second-lowest amount of shot attempts on the season and equaling
his least amount of rebounds in 10 February contests as well. Kidd-Gilchrist
also saw his fewest amount of minutes since Jan. 28 due to the fact he fouled
out, which naturally played a part in the overall downturn. The disappointing
effort appears to be an outlier in many respects, one that the 23-year-old will
try to bounce back from in Tuesday’s tilt versus the Lakers.
