Maurice Harkless: Intending to play Game 4

Harkless told the assembled media Monday that his bruised right hip is feeling better, stating that he’s going to “try and go” after going through shootaround. The St. John’s product initially sustained the injury during Game 2 and lasted less than seven minutes in Game 3, departing early after experiencing substantial discomfort. Harkless, himself, sounded optimistic about his chances to contribute Monday night, but coach Terry Stotts was quick to note that the forward is yet to run or cut at full speed. “I feel pretty good, but I’m going to see how it feels when I run around out there,” Harkless said. “I’m going to try and go either way. I don’t want to be a detriment to the team, but obviously if I can’t move well enough I’m sure coach will take me out.”
