The 76ers will alternate rest days for Okafor and Joel Embiid, who have both been restricted since the beginning of training camp due to their respective injury histories. It’s likely that Embiid will be limited deeper into the season than Okafor, but both appear to be at the same place in their recovery for now, as Embiid is also expected to be capped at around 24 minutes Tuesday before sitting out Wednesday for maintenance purposes. After taking Tuesday off to recuperate, Okafor is expected to make his first start of the season Wednesday in place of the resting Embiid.
