DeMarcus Cousins: Scores 24 points in 25 minutes Wednesday

With the Kings racing to a double-digit advantage at halftime and maintaining that lead throughout the second half, coach Dave Joerger was able to give Cousins some extended time off in the opener. Even with a less-than-normal workload, Cousins was still able to pile up the points, showing that he certainly remains a premium talent in the frontcourt. The Kings face a significantly tougher matchup in the second half of their back-to-back set Thursday against the Spurs, so look for Joerger to turn to Cousins for more minutes in that contest.
