PHILADELPHIA – Just about everyone got in on the action tossing up lobs to DeAndre Jordan last week.
Here are the top five plays of the week from games against the Timberwolves, Magic and Heat.
5) Nifty dish
Chris Paul doesn’t need much room to find passing lanes with either hand. After the pick-and-roll, Paul whips a pass into the lane for DeAndre Jordan to finish with the foul.
4) Pierce tosses it up
Paul takes up plenty of attention, allowing him to find an open Paul Pierce. Karl-Anthony Towns then has to leave Jordan to close out, and Pierce immediately tosses it up to Jordan, who finishes the alley-oop behind his back.
3) Jamal to DJ
Jamal Crawford’s plenty capable of operating the high pick-and-roll with Jordan, as well, as he shows here. Chris Bosh sticks with Crawford, leaving Luol Deng chasing and realizing exactly what’s about to happen.
2) Lance lob
Lance Stephenson came up clutch down the stretch in Orlando, going 6-for-6 from the floor and doing most of his scoring damage in the fourth quarter – but it wasn’t just his scoring. Stephenson also did this in the fourth, lobbing it up to Jordan for the thunderous finish.
1) Finishing off Miami
This was the classic Paul to Jordan alley-oop, putting the ribbon on the Clippers’ win in Miami with authority.
