Top Five Plays Of The Week: Dec 7-13

DETROIT – Doc Rivers has noticed a more energized DeAndre Jordan, both on defense and with his thunderous dunks.

Jordan’s dunked all over his recent competition, and the Clippers center is featured heavily in the top plays from last week on the road against the Timberwolves, Bucks, Bulls and Nets.

5) The lob, the jam

This was one of those finishes which had to be seen in person to appreciate how high up Jordan had to go to retrieve the lob from Chris Paul and throw it down.

4) Jordan in transition

Nothing the Bucks did could stop Jordan from throwing down dunks. Here, Giannis Antetokounmpo tries to hack Jordan as he goes up, but it doesn’t stop the finish.

3) Jordan flies in Brooklyn

After terrorizing the Bucks cutting to the rim for dunks, Jordan flies through the lane here after the pass from Paul and soars up after taking a dribble.

2) Buzzer-beater

Paul’s hit some long 3s on this five-game road trip, but this one beating the buzzer before the half might’ve been the best in a win against Minnesota.

1) Giving out posters

You can call it a dunk, a throw-down, or a thrunk. Whatever it is Jordan did on Greg Monroe, it was a ferocious finish that left the Bucks’ center on the ground, probably contemplating how Jordan did what he did.
