Thunder drop Nuggets, 110-104

The Oklahoma City Thunder (31-12) earned a road win Wednesday night at Pepsi Center as they downed the Denver Nuggets (16-26), 110-104.

The game was dominated by Oklahoma City's superstar duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, as they combined to score 57 points. And they brought it when it mattered most, as Durant or Westbrook either scored or assisted on all but two of the Thunder's final 19 points of the game.

Both superstars recorded double-doubles, as Durant led the Thunder with 30 points and 12 rebounds and Westbrook added 27 points with a game-high 12 assists. On a night when no other Thunder starter scored over 10 points, Enes Kanter had a monster game off the bench, as he scored 25 points in just 25 minutes on a brilliant 10-14 shooting night.

Danilo Galinari did his best to keep up with the Thunder, as he drained four three-pointers en route to a 27-point night. Kenneth Faried finished with a double-double behind 17 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. The Nuggets just didn't get enough offense to keep with Oklahoma City's stars, as Denver shot just 42.2 percent from the floor and committed 17 turnovers.

Oklahoma City extended its winning streak to five and will return home for their next contest Wednesday against the Hornets. Denver will continue its homestand Wednesday with a game against the Grizzlies.
