Stauskas started at shooting guard in Monday’s loss to the Cavaliers and scored 15 points (4-10 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT) while contributing four rebounds, one assist, and one steal over his 29 minutes.

After being held to just 21 minutes while coming off the bench in his season debut last Friday, Stauskas faced no such playing time restriction Monday and seemed to make the most of the opportunity. Coach Brett Brown’s usage of his rotation Monday would seem to suggest Stauskas is the unquestioned top option at shooting guard, as the previous player who was filling in for him, Jakarr Sampson, saw just four minutes on the evening. While Stauskas can’t be relied upon to provide much across-the-board production, he’ll have a blank check to hoist all the three-point shots he can handle. He’s worth a look in mid-sized or deeper formats for those in need of additional scoring from the backcourt.
