Omer Asik: Shifts to bench role Tuesday

The Pelicans indicated earlier in the year that they planned on using Anthony Davis as their starting center at times in order to go small and allow for a more uptempo pace. That will be the case Tuesday, as Asik will come off the bench, while Dante Cunningham will move into the starting lineup at power forward and Davis will shift over to center. Asik is averaging just 13.3 minutes per game over the first three outings of the season and his value will likely only be hurt more by coming off the bench.
