Morris scored a season-high 19 points (7-22 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-5 FT) and added eight rebounds and two assists over 36 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Mavericks.

Morris wasn’t particularly efficient while leading the Suns in shot attempts, but it’s good to see him raise his scoring production back up after a quiet season opener against the Mavericks. The 26-year-old has reached double figures the last three games while attempting at least 17 shots in each contest. Unfortunately, he’s shot under 40 percent from the field in all of those games, so he might not receive the green light to keep firing away for much longer.
