Mason Plumlee: Will make Nuggets debut Wednesday

The trade that brought Plumlee to Denver was finalized on Monday, but the
Nuggets opted to hold him out of their contest later that night in order to
allow Plumlee a chance to get settled first. However, after Plumlee was able to
take part in practice Tuesday, coach Mike Malone feels comfortable getting the
big man his first action as a Nugget, so look for Plumlee to be available off
the bench Wednesday. Considering it’s his first game, he could see limited
minutes while continuing to adjust to his new team, so that’ something to take
into consideration. Once on a full workload, Plumlee is expected to backup
Nikola Jokic at center, which likely means a consistent 20-to-25 minute role
most nights.
