Marcus Thornton: Set to miss third straight game

Thornton has missed the last two games with a sprained thumb and the Wizards want to avoid any sort of further aggravation, so he’ll be held out Monday. The Wizards next preseason outing is Thursday versus the Sixers, so depending on Thornton’s practice availability over the next few days, it should be his next opportunity to return to the court.
