Marc Gasol: Not expected to play Tuesday

Both Gasol and Mike Conley aren’t expected to take the floor Tuesday, as the coaching staff is hoping to give their veterans a day off for rest. That said, the Grizzlies are expected to start Wade Baldwin, Troy Williams, James Ennis, Jarell Martin and JaMychal Green. All five starters should get a ton of minutes Tuesday, although Gasol and Conley should be back in the lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans in the second of a back-to-back set.
