It’s unclear when, exactly, Walker sustained the injury, but he struggled throughout Charlotte’s first round series. Walker averaged 22.7 points and 4.0 assists but shot just 36.6 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from three. In the deciding Game 7, Walker was limited to only nine points (3-16 FG) in 36 minutes. According to a team release, Walker will rest and rehab for roughly two months with the goal of returning to full basketball activities sometime in July.
