Madison Square Garden hosted two games dedicated to cancer awareness. In the
first game, the New York Liberty wore pink uniforms for WNBA Breast Health
Awareness while defeating the Los Angeles Sparks behind a big game from Tina
Charles. The second game saw stars take the court for Aces Celebrity Charity
Basketball, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Garden of Dreams
Foundation and Tackle Kids Cancer.
The most notable star to play was Justin Bieber, and before the Canadian singer
took the court for the game he took a moment to pose with a few of the Liberty
players.
