Valanciunas’ ankle injury appears to be slightly more serious than originally thought, as he’s already been ruled out for the rest of the Raptors’ second-round series against the Heat. The Heat also announced they’ll likely be without their starting center, Hassan Whiteside, so it appears Monday’s outing will be a battle of the backups. With Valanciunas ruled out, Bismack Biyombo should move into the starting lineup and will likely see a big jump in his fantasy value. Considering Valanciunas remains without a concrete timetable for return, we should see his status updated again later in the week.
