Johnson will start in his Heat debut on Sunday against the Knicks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Johnson was signed by the Heat on Saturday and will jump straight into the starting lineup, replacing Justise Winslow. Coach Erik Spoelstra said that he expects Johnson to play a significant role for the Heat for the rest of the season. It appears they’re trying to get him involved as soon as possible. It’s unclear if he’ll play a large portion of minutes or be eased into the lineup, but given that he’s in the starting lineup he’ll likely see a large portion of minutes.
