Noah has missed the last seven games with a strained left hamstring, but it
looks like some lingering knee issues will require surgery and effectively end
the big man’s 2016-17 campaign. Noah appeared and started in 46 games in his
first season with the Knicks, averaging 5.0 points and 8.8 rebounds over 22
minutes per game. In his absence, Willy Hernangomez is the most likely candidate
to take over duties as the team’s full-time starting center with Kyle O’Quinn
serving as the primary backup.
