Jabari Parker: Undergoes successful ACL surgery Tuesday

Though Parker’s procedure went off without a hitch, the Bucks won’t waver from
the 12-month recovery timetable initially handed down to the forward when he was
diagnosed with the injury last week. Given that it’s the second time in a little
over two years that Parker has torn the ACL, the Bucks will likely be extremely
cautious with the forward’s rehab process, so it’s possible he may not even be
cleared to take part in contact drills until the calendar flips to 2018. During
Parker’s absence the last three games, Thon Maker and Michael Beasley have both
received starts at power forward, with the latter seemingly representing the
better source of fantasy production thanks to his skills as a scorer.
