Looking for their fifth straight win, the Pacers led wire-to-wire in the first half on Friday night in Brooklyn. The Blue & Gold headed to halftime leading the Nets, 56-46.
Indiana jumped out to an early 12-4 lead thanks to nine quick points from Jeff Teague. The visitors extended their lead to as many as 12 points in the first quarter and were up 27-16 heading into the second.
The Pacers pushed their advantage to 14 points in the second quarter, but Brooklyn used a late 8-2 spurt to climb within seven before Paul George's 3-pointer with 1:20 to play pushed the lead back to double digits heading into the break.
George led all scorers with 15 points and five rebounds. Teague added 11 points and four assists, while Myles Turner chipped in seven points and three boards.
Brook Lopez led the Nets with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting and six rebounds. Joe Harris added 10 points off the bench.
