Playing on the second night of a back-to-back, the Pacers headed into halftime on Friday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse trailing 64-55 to the Sacramento Kings. Indiana returned home after winning on the road on Thursday night in Minnesota.

The first quarter was a back-and-forth affair featuring five ties and eight lead changes, with neither team going ahead by more than five points. Ty Lawson's 3-pointer with 0.3 seconds left in the period gave the Kings a 30-27 lead heading into the second.
Monta Ellis provided a spark off the bench early in the second quarter, knocking down a couple jumpers as Indiana's second unit opened the frame with a 9-2 run. Sacramento, however, responded with 10 unanswered points to regain the lead.
The Kings eventually extended their advantage to as many as 13 points before halftime, thanks to a red-hot start from beyond the arc. Sacramento rained three after three in the first half, connecting on 11 of their first 15 attempts from beyond the arc.
Paul George's leaning three as the halftime buzzer sounded trimmed the deficit back to single digits.

George led Indiana with 11 points and three assists in the first half. Myles Turner and C.J. Miles each added nine points.
Former Pacers guard Darren Collison led all scorers with 15 points, going 5-for-7 from the field and 3-for-4 from 3-point range. All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins added 14 points, nine rebounds, and four assists for the Kings.
