Five things to know about the Pelicans on Sept. 29, 2016

1)      Tonight marks the debut of this season's Alvin Gentry Show, a weekly Thursday radio program featuring an interview with the coach by Sean Kelley. The format has been expanded to an hour-long show, after it had been 30 minutes in the recent past. It will air from 7-8 p.m. on WRNO 99.5 FM. The show also includes a live call-in segment with host Daniel Sallerson (dial 504-593-4910). During tonight's broadcast, two tickets will be given away to the Oct. 26 home opener vs. Denver. After tonight's preseason special, the weekly schedule for the show will begin Oct. 20.

2)      In addition to Gentry, a guest on tonight's show will be Maroon 5 keyboardist P.J. Morton, a New Orleans native, St. Aug graduate and avid Pelicans fan.

4)      Gentry said after Wednesday's morning practice that the Pelicans' starting lineups might be fluid based on matchups.
