Five things to know about the Pelicans on Feb. 1, 2016

1)      New Orleans (18-28) tries to cap its season-long seven-game homestand with a 6-1 record tonight, hosting the Memphis Grizzlies (28-20) at 7 p.m. Tickets are available here.

3)      The Pelicans are 3.5 games out of eighth place in the Western Conference behind Portland (23-26), but also only 5 behind seventh-place Houston (25-25). Utah (21-25) and Sacramento (20-27) are in ninth and 10th place in the West.

4)      In case you missed it, New Orleans won a thriller Saturday over Brooklyn, 105-103, on Jrue Holiday’s game-winning jumper with 1.3 seconds left.
