Derrick White: Headed to the Spurs

White was a scoring machine for Colorado last year, averaging 18.3 points and
4.3 assists per game for the Buffaloes. In true San Antonio fashion, White is on
the older side at 23, as he played Division III ball before transferring to
Colorado. However, it’s no secret that age is a huge issue for the Spurs, with
Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli garnering several days of rest last season. White
has a chance to make an impact behind Patty Mills and DeJounte Murray and is
versatile enough to shift to the 2 slot as well.
