summer Author: Joe Noga Publication: Cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving was asked
Tuesday night about reports that LeBron James is unhappy with the team’s
perceived lack of success in free agency during the NBA offseason.

The four-time All-Star hinted to Sports Illustrated’s Maggie Gray that he’s
taking a wait-and-see approach to the offseason, acknowledging that things are

roster.

“We’re in a very peculiar place,” Irving said. “We just have to make sure al our
pieces are aligned first, and then we go from there.” – CLICK HERE to read full

Cavaliers: James Jones retires, becomes VP of basketball operations for Phoenix
Suns Author: Rick Noland Publication: Medina-Gazette

Just about everyone around him knew James Jones was ticketed to be an NBA coach
or front office executive.

It became reality Wednesday when the Cavaliers small forward retired as a player
to become the Phoenix Suns’ vice president of basketball operations.

The 6-foot-8, 218-pound Jones spent the last three seasons of his 14-year
playing career with the Cavs. A teammate of four-time league MVP LeBron James
for seven seasons, his Cleveland and Miami teams reached the NBA Finals seven

Kyrie: Cavs should handle offseason ‘with class’ Author: Sam Amico Publication:
Amico Hoops

Kyrie Irving is the first player to comment to the media about the Cleveland
Cavaliers’ offseason, and the star point guard seemed fairly diplomatic.

“I understand we’re in a very peculiar place,” Irving told Sports Illustrated.
“We just have to, you know, make sure all our pieces are aligned first, and then
we go from there. It’s the summertime; a lot of craziness going on in the NBA.”

Irving comments came just a couple days after it was reported that star teammate
LeBron James was frustrated with the team’s lack of offseason moves. – CLICK
