Steph Curry has long been one of the league’s best shooters, and now he has a brand-new NBA record to prove it. With a first-quarter 3-pointer, Curry’s now hit a trey in 128 consecutive games, breaking Kyle Korver’s existing mark of 127.
Maybe even more remarkable than the fact that this was the 128th consecutive game in which Curry’s hit a three-pointer, that three was his 267th on the season, which puts him just 19 threes back of the record for 3-pointers made in a season. A mark, of course, which Curry himself set just last year when he poured in 286 trifectas. So, seeing as it’s still February, there’s no doubt we’ll be back here in a few weeks talking about Curry claiming another spot in the NBA record books.
