The Wine and Gold snapped a three-game skid with a 124-116 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night at The Q. LeBron James led all scorers with 31 points, going 13-for-18 from the floor to go with a game-high 11 assists. Kyrie Irving had an incredibly efficient night himself, going 10-for-17 from the floor, including 3-of-5 from the stripe, to go with six helpers – tallying his 28 points in just 31 minutes of action. Kevin Love – fresh off being named to his fourth All-Star squad on Thursday – notched his team-leading 28th double-double of the season with 13 points and a game-high 14 boards.

The Cavaliers will look to keep the momentum going against their 10th Western Conference opponent in 11 games. The Cavs are 28-6 in their last 34 home games against the Western Conference (8-3 in 2016-17).

Specifically, Cleveland has won three straight games over their West opponent on Sunday in Oklahoma City.

The Thunder, despite losing their All-Star Kevin Durant to free agency, have remained competitive posting an impressive 28-19 record.

Of course, the main reason for their success derives from their do-it-all floor general, Russell Westbrook. The eighth-year All-Star from UCLA is having an MVP-like campaign averaging a triple-double with 31.0 points, 10.6 rebounds and 10.2 assists.

As mentioned, the Wine and Gold have won three straight against the Thunder. During that stretch, Cleveland has outscored Oklahoma City by an average of 12.3 points (109.0-96.7), which includes a 23-point win in their previous matchup (115-92 on 2/21/16).

Defensively over the last three contests, the Cavs have held the Thunder to a combined .422 shooting from the field and just .296 (21-71) from beyond the arc.

Sunday's showdown will be the first of two matchups between the two teams with the final matchup coming on February 9th in Oklahoma City.

Hardwood Classics Night presented by Elk & Elk: The Cavs will host a series of Hardwood Classics (HWC) Nights presented by Elk & Elk at Quicken Loans Arena throughout the season, turning the clock back to the years 1983-1987.

Each HWC Night will transport fans at The Q to the mid-80's when the Cavaliers played at the Richfield Coliseum, World B. Free led a 'comeback season' and a new look team took shape in '86 with Mark Price, Brad Daugherty, Ron Harper and Hot Rod Williams coming together in Cleveland. MORE DETAILS
