The Wine and Gold opened their homestand with a 115-102 win over the L.A. Clippers on Thursday night when the team had 29 assists and shot 42-83 (.506) from the field. When shooting at least .500 from the field, Cleveland is 11-0 this season and 39-0 when making at least half their shots since March 23, 2014 (regular season).
After scoring 115 points on Thursday at The Q, the Cavs have won 39 straight home games when eclipsing the 100-point plateau (13 this season).
The Cavs shot 13-28 (.464) from the three-point line against the Clippers on Thursday night, the 22nd time this season Cleveland has hit 10 or more triples in a game. In 2015-16, the team is averaging 10.1 three-point makes per game (4th in NBA).
Kevin Love scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the first half of Thursday’s win over the Clippers.
All five starters scored in double figures against the Clippers (James – 22, Smith – 22, Irving – 21, Love – 18, Mozgov – 11), the 4th time that has happened this season.
The Wine and Gold will hope to have another solid all-around performance tonight against a Bulls team that will be playing their second game in as many days.
Chicago (24-18) enters tonight’s contest having lost three of their last four after falling to the Celtics, 110-101, last night in Boston.
The Bulls have gone a woeful 20.5 percent on three-pointers and are yielding 108.8 points over a recent 2-6 stretch.

The Central Division rivals will take on each other at The Q again on February 18 and wrap things up in Chicago on April 9.
Cleveland has won three of the last four games against the Bulls at Quicken Loans Arena, where they have the best home record in the Eastern Conference at 16-2 in 2015-16.
The two teams last met on opening night back in late October with the Bulls coming away with the 97-95 victory.
The Cavs had a chance to tie the game or gain the lead, down 97-95 with 3.6 seconds remaining, but turned the ball over on the inbound play.
Cleveland pulled down 50 rebounds and had a 42-32 edge in points in the paint.
