Carroll indicated Monday that his right knee has felt strong in his two games since returning from arthroscopic surgery, and he hopes to have his minutes restriction lifted by the time the playoffs begin, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.

The Raptors initially suggested that they were hoping to have Carroll available for around 25-to-30 minutes per game during the postseason, but with the forward stating that he’s feeling better than anticipated through his first two games back, the team may be a little more aggressive with his usage. After playing 14 minutes last Thursday against the Hawks and 17 minutes three days later against the Knicks, Carroll should see his workload increased over the Raptors’ final two regular-season contests, after which his condition will likely be reassessed. Norman Powell would lose the most value if Carroll eventually returns to a full-time starting role in the playoffs.
