Bucks power past Hornets 105-92

The Milwaukee Bucks (18-25) remained ever-unpredictable, handily defeating the Charlotte Hornets (18-22) on Saturday.

The Bucks have been hit-or-miss thus far this season, and have now picked up two in a row after an impressive win against the powerful Atlanta Hawks. Milwaukee dominated all sectors of the game, shooting 54.2 percent from the field while holding their opponents to just 37.9 percent and out-rebounding Charlotte 46-35. Milwaukee, behind Greg Monroe's 19 points and 10 rebounds, maintained a 46-36 edge in points in the paint. Guard Khris Middleton also lit it up from the field, scoring 24 points on 11 of 16 shooting.

For the Hornets, the loss is the second straight and the ninth in ten games. Charlotte has been in a downward spiral since a surprisingly hot start to the season, and is now the coldest team in the NBA. Center Al Jefferson has been sidelined with multiple knee injuries and a drug suspension, which has not helped Charlotte's weak play in the paint. Even in the face of a losing streak, Kemba Walker has maintained strong play. The point guard scored 12 and dished out six assists on Saturday.

Charlotte's next matchup will be against Utah on Monday. The Bucks, meanwhile, will travel to Miami on Tuesday.
