Brooks has averaged 16.6 minutes, 2.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.6 steals, and 6.4 points within the Bulls’ 2015-16 season.

The point guard has proved to be a solid backup option to starting point guard Derrick Rose. Brooks took Rose’s role during Chicago’s preseason due to Rose’s left orbital fracture and served as an excellent replacement while averaging 10.2 points, 1.4 steals, 2.6 assists, and 2.3 rebounds. The 30-year-old will likely have limited minutes if Rose can stay healthy, but Brooks could still provide solid input coming off the bench.
