Brandon Jennings: Starts at point guard Monday

Derrick Rose is tending to an alleged sexual assault trial and will be unavailable Monday, giving Jennings the opportunity to get some run with the starters. Jennings is slated to open the season as Rose’s direct backup and given Rose’s injury history, he’ll be a player to keep an eye on throughout the start of the regular season. Look for Jennings to share the additional minutes Monday with Chasson Randle and Justin Holiday.
