Bosh Says He Has No Blood Clots, Still Hoping To Return

Chris Bosh says he no longer is dealing with any active blood clots, and remains hopeful that he can return to the Miami Heat at some point this season.

The 11-time All-Star made those remarks in a statement released Thursday. He did not offer a potential timetable for his return to the court.

Bosh has been sidelined since the All-Star break. He was diagnosed with a blood clot in his left leg and subsequently resumed taking bloodthinning medication, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press last month.

Bosh’s statement does not mention bloodthinners, so it remains unclear if he is still taking them.
