Avery Bradley: Listed as out Wednesday vs. 76ers

Bradley remained in Boston during the Celtics’ recent four-game road trip, and
while coach Brad Stevens indicated earlier in the week that the shooting guard
was progressing, Bradley still has yet to receive a concrete timetable for a
return. Though the team seems content to evaluate Bradley on a day-to-day basis,
he’s probably no better than doubtful for Thursday’s tilt with the Bulls, which
marks the Celtics’ final game before the All-Star break. The extra week off
would improve Bradley’s chances of being available for the Celtics’ first game
out of the break Feb. 24 against the Raptors, but he’ll need to turn in a couple
of full practices before the team clears him to play. In the meantime, Marcus
Smart is expected to start at shooting guard the next two games and take on
around a 35-minute workload.
