Al-Farouq Aminu: Doubtful for Wednesday vs. Jazz

While the Trail Blazers haven’t provided any details on the injury, Aminu likely
suffered his knee sprain during Monday’s contest against the Hawks. With
Wednesday’s game marking the last outing before the All-Star break, the Trail
Blazers are going to take a cautious approach and expect to hold Aminu out,
which would allow him a little over a week to make a full recovery prior to
matchup with the Magic on Jan. 23. With Aminu out, Noah Vonleh could take on a
few extra minutes as the starting power forward, while guys like Ed Davis and
Meyers Leonard could see a slight uptick in playing time off the bench.
