The New York Knicks (19-20) beat the Milwaukee Bucks (15-24) 100-88 on Sunday night.

Most people would have expected the Bucks to be a better team at this point of the year, but this result shows where these two teams are at right now. Milwaukee is one of the worst road teams in the NBA, as they are now 5-17 on the road. What killed them here were the second and third quarters, in which they were outscored 58-36. The benches were also a huge difference, as Milwaukee got just 14 points off their bench to the Knicks 28.

The Bucks continue to struggle and it's a bit concerning with their starters playing so many minutes. Greg Monroe had been struggling lately, but he played well here, as he totaled 28 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Khris Middleton also continued his scoring ways, as he scored 20 points, but failed to stuff the stat sheet like he usually does. What really hurt was a 1-for-8 shooting performance from Michael Carter-Williams, who was playing some of his best ball of the season prior to this game. The Bucks will look to bounce-back on Tuesday against the Chicago Bulls in their next game.

The Knicks have been one of the surprises of the NBA this season and the all-around play of Carmelo Anthony is the most surprising aspect. Anthony is approaching a career-high in assists this season and is handling the offense better than he ever has in his career. In this game, he collected 24 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in the win. Kristaps Porzingis continued his good play too, as he scored 15 points and swatted away five shots. The five starters combined for 22 assists and that's a great number for any team. New York will look to keep this going against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.
