Pachulia has started at center all three preseason games, but hasn’t been the low-post presence that Andrew Bogut was the last few seasons. He wasn’t much of a deterrent Thursday, when DeMarcus Cousins rolled up 20 points (8-11 FG) in 21 minutes, and has just one block in three games. Offensively, he’s taken just six shots and scored six points. A thin and aged center position may not be a big deal most night as the Warriors excel with smaller lineups, but Thursday was a reminder that they can be exposed by a skilled big. If Pachulia fails to live up to expectations, the Warriors have Javale McGee and Anderson Vareajo in reserve.
