The veteran big man looked highly efficient off the bench, which new head coach David Fizdale has already announced will serve as his role in the coming season. Randolph should still be able to provide solid production during what will likely be a relatively healthy allotment of playing time each night. The additional rest should also serve to keep the 35-year-old fresh throughout 82 games and what the Grizzlies hope will be an extended playoff run.
