Randolph has looked outstanding as the lead offensive option for the Grizzlies’ second unit, averaging 18.0 points (on 52.4% shooting from the field), 9.0 boards, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 23.7 minutes per game. The playing time is a significant downgrade from the 29.6 minutes per game Randolph averaged a season ago, and his shooting percentage is also well above his career rate, so there’s reason to think regression may be coming with his numbers. Even so, Randolph’s standing as a go-to scorer off the bench should lend itself to enough point production to give him value in at least mid-sized or deeper leagues throughout the season.
