Willie Reed Player Spotlight

While Willie Reed played sparingly for Brooklyn in 2015-16, he gained valuable experience in his first season in the NBA. He also took advantage when his number was called and played very well in his two starts. In fact, Reed scored 14 points, grabbed eight rebounds, blocked four shots and dished out three assists against the Timberwolves on March 5.

Throughout the year, the 6-foot-10 center showed great anticipation on the offensive glass and also protected the rim well on the defensive end.

With how hard he works, there's no reason to believe he won't be a valuable backup to Hassan Whiteside this upcoming season.
