Williams went without a point (0-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT) and had six rebounds and one steal over 29 minutes in Wednesday’s 115-103 loss to the Heat in Game 2 of the series.

It’s been an ugly two games for Williams, who has put up just two points on 1-for-17 shooting. At least from three-point range, Williams wasn’t the only man on his team who couldn’t find his shooting touch, as the Hornets went a combined 1-for-16 beyond the arc. With Nicolas Batum exiting in the fourth quarter with a sprained left ankle that may end up forcing him out of Game 4, Williams could be asked to play more on the wing. If that’s the case, the Hornets — who trail 2-0 in the series — will need Williams to rediscover his shooting stroke, and quickly.
