Williams (sports hernia) went for 15 points (6-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, three assists, and one steal across 29 minutes during the Mavericks’ 98-91 loss to the Clippers on Sunday.

Williams sat out the last eight games with a sports hernia, but he was able to return to action on Sunday. Williams had two turnovers to three assists, and he was fairly quiet overall. However, his presence is a welcome sight for the Mavericks as they fight for one of the final playoff spots. Williams and company face a stingy Jazz defense on Monday in a game that’s essentially must-win for both teams.
