Williams scored a team high 23 points (9-16 Fg, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, six assists, and on steal over 37 minutes in Monday’s win against the Jazz.

It’s a crucial stretch for the Mavericks and Williams has shown his veteran poise since returning from a sports hernia Sunday. The 31-year-old point guard has shot the ball well since returning from his eight-game absence, averaging 19.0 points on 55.6 percent shooting in the last two nights. The Mavs have a monumentally important finale against San Antonio Wednesday so expect Williams to get his fair share of opportunities.
