Williams is listed as the Mavs’ projected starter at point guard for Monday’s matchup with the Jazz, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

After missing the Mavs’ previous eight games, Williams made a surprising return from a sports hernia in Sunday’s loss to the Clippers, tallying 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, and a steal over 29 minutes. Williams’ availability was a welcome development after J.J. Barea (groin) was forced to miss the contest, and with Barea still questionable for Monday, Williams could again be asked to take on an increased role in the second night of a back-to-back set. Should the Mavericks elect to limit Williams at all even in the event Barea sits, Raymond Felton figures to be the primary beneficiary of added court time.
