Williams is averaging 11.5 points and three rebounds over 16.3 minutes per game through the Knicks’ first four contests.

Since putting up 24 points in 21 minutes in the season opener against the Celtics, Williams has seen his playing time trickle downward in each successive game. It hasn’t helped matters that he’s shot just 8-for-21 over those last three contests, while gathering only five boards in a total of 44 minutes. Williams remains behind Robin Lopez, Kristaps Porzingis, and Kyle O’Quinn in the Knicks’ frontcourt rotation, and it wouldn’t be overly surprising if a now-healthy Kevin Seraphin is able to surpass him soon as well.
