Whiteside recorded 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, and three blocked shots over 32 minutes in Wednesday’s Game 5 loss to the Hornets.

Whiteside responded to a poor Game 4 performance with another double-double on Wednesday. His scoring has certainly fallen off from earlier in the series, but it’s good to see him return to double-digit rebounding form. He’s now averaging 14.0 points and 12.2 rebounds this playoffs. It’s “win or go home” for Miami in Game 6, so expect the dynamic center to give it his all on Friday night.
