The veteran big man received a notable bump in minutes from the 11 he’d talled in Game 2, and the playing time was the most he’d tallied in the Spurs’ seven postseason games overall. His one made three-pointer was also just his fifth in 80 career games, but his second of this year’s postseason. While the additional playing time was a positive development for West, the extra minutes could just as easily evaporate in Game 4 if coach Gregg Popovich opts to give Tim Duncan more than the 14 minutes he received Friday.
