West accumulated two points along with two rebounds and three assists in the Spurs’ 94-84 win over the Knicks on Monday.

The veteran power forward has participated in all of the Spurs match-ups so far this season, but he has seen less minutes each game. West is struggling to fit in to the Spurs’ system early and his numbers are well below his career marks. He has shot the ball well (53.8 percent) but just far fewer times than he normally does. At this point he is averaging 12.0 points and 4.8 rebounds less per game than his 12-year career average. However, it’s hard to imagine that this will be the West we see for 82 games.
